Bali Airport facilities, transport and accommodation options

Ngurah Rai Airport is the main hub for international flights to Bali. 15 kilometres from Denpasar it has a number of facilities that will cater to the needs of a first time Bali traveller. Facilities include:

• Currency Exchange (more favourable rates can be found in town)
• Eateries and Cafes are open from 6am until the last flight
• Shops within the duty free Plaza Bali (i.e. Burberry, Fendi and Hermes)
• Executive lounges (one with internet access and showers)
• Wheelchair access, lifts and assistance by staff on demand

After enjoying the food and shopping within the airport setting off to your accommodation is relatively simple. It is advised if choosing to drive in a taxi to use the pre- paid taxi service at the airport. Buses run between Denpasar and the airport if you are looking for another transport option. However, if you stay at the resort of Kuta you can always walk 2.5 kilometres to your hotel.
